Lee Ledbetter & Associates redesigned the Stallings St. Claude Center in New Orleans’ Ninth Ward following damage from Hurricane Katrina, securing FEMA funding to rebuild the gymnasium while renovating the undamaged pool building. The new facility preserves the original program, updates materials and code compliance, and repositions the structure to create additional green space and a stronger public presence along St. Claude Avenue.
